March Break is the perfect time to enjoy quality time with your child! Why not bring your mini-me into Starlite for a fun and educational hands-on experience?
In our March Break Open Studio, you and your child can choose to create soap, soy candles, bath bombs, or shower steamers—all in a relaxed, self-paced environment.
What is Open Studio?
Unlike our regular instructor-led workshops for ages 16+, Open Studio is designed for mature crafters ages 10 to 15, accompanied by an adult. It’s a shorter, self-guided session, where you’ll follow written instructions at your own pace, with plenty of help available if needed.
Crafting Options:
- Soap Making – Customize a full 1.5kg (12-bar) batch with your favourite colours and scents. (Soap can be taken home the same day.)
- Soy Candle Making – Hand-pour two beautifully scented candles in stylish glass jars.
- Bubbly Bath Bomb Making – Mix, mold, and colour your own fizzy bath treats.
- Shower Steamers – Create refreshing, aromatherapy steamers for an at-home spa experience.
Note: Candles, bath bombs, and shower steamers need time to set and will be ready for pickup the following day.
Safety First!
Since our crafting involves hot wax, spinning blades, and sodium hydroxide (lye), each child must be accompanied by an adult, who will be responsible for their safety. A waiver is required.

- Send us a quick message letting us know which craft you’d like to make and when you plan to come in. Please note that some times may not be available due to pre-scheduled workshops.
- Show up and create! We’ll have everything ready for you.
Pricing:
- $59 per parent/child duo (includes one batch of soap, candles, bath bombs, or shower steamers).
- Want to make their own? Add an extra batch for $59—simply purchase another project of the same type.
