LANDSCAPE SOAP - ADVANCED SOAP MAKING WORKSHOP (16+)

Ready to add a splash of creativity to your soap-making skills?

Join us for our fun and colourful Landscape Soap Workshop! We’ll build on the basics from our Beginner’s Soap Making Workshop, introducing new techniques to help you create a beautiful landscape scene in a 12-bar block of cold process soap, made with a carefully formulated batch of soap oils and sodium hydroxide.  Soothing, gentle, luxurious, and greta to look at! 

Landscape soap is a creative form of soap making where a soap's design mimics natural scenes, such as mountains, sunsets, or forests. This technique involves layering different coloured soap batters to depict elements like skies, terrains, and other landscape features.

During this two-hour event, we will use the soap pictured here as a template, using a soap scraper and three "embeds." You can replicate the soap exactly as shown, or you can choose your own earth and sky colours.  And as always, there's a large choice of scents and other additives to help make your soap completely unique.

• This is an adult-oriented workshop, not recommended or suitable for children under the age of 16.
• We suggest you arrive at least five minutes prior to the posted workshop start time.
• The workshop is held at Starlite Soap Studio, 620 Courtney St, Victoria, BC V8W 1C1 (between Government & Douglas)

WHAT TO WEAR:

Come as you are, but we suggest you wear closed-toe shoes and a long-sleeved shirt.
