COVID-19 UPDATE

UPDATE 24TH MAY 2020

Dear Starlite Customers:

As Victoria starts to return to a level of normalcy following ten weeks of "lockdown," we thank all of our Starlite customers for your kindness and patience with us during this troublesome time. 

Our host company, Good Planet, is gradually resuming operations through the early summer, and that means our workshops will be able to recommence in mid July.  YAY! 

We have sent emails to all of our pre-booked workshop customers to advise an easy, online method of re-booking their March/April/May COVID-postponed workshops. Check your "promo," "spam" or "trash" folders if your email security settings are set a little on the high side.

For those prepaid customers who are not yet ready to venture into retail spaces, and would like to wait a while longer, there's no problem. Your booking is "on ice" until you decide to re-book. We are not rushing you! For those prepaid customers who do not want to come downtown under any circumstance, you may wish to accept our offer of a "make at home" kit. Details are included in the above-mentioned email, which was sent out on the afternoon of May 23rd.  

Our re-scheduled workshops will be just as much fun as before, but we are taking extra steps to ensure your safety by temporarily reducing the workshop size from 8 to just 4 people, which will assure a 2-metre safe separation between customers. There will be more sanitization, and minimal sharing of containers or equipment.  

Our COVID-19 postponement policy remains in effect, so if you or a recent contact have been experiencing COVID-like symptoms, please call 811 for assistance, and let us know so that we can postpone your workshop to a later date.

COVID-19 POSTPONEMENT POLICY: UPDATE 9th APRIL 2020

Dear Starlite Customers:

With the COVID-19 crisis continuing and our host company Good Planet's storefront temporarily closed, Starlite Soap Studio's workshops have been postponed. 


You can rest assured that your workshop booking is safely "on ice" and can be re-booked for ANY workshop at ANY time in the future by simply emailing us with your name and original workshop date.  

You are welcome to postpone your participation until such time as you feel safe in re-booking. That could be the summer, the fall, or next year, it's your choice. 

We regret that we are unable to provide refunds at this time.

When our workshops resume, they will be conducted with strict and safe social distancing in mind: reduced workshop size, 2 metres between participants, extra sanitization, no sharing of containers.  

We know that everyone is looking forward to putting this behind us and getting back to work. We urge you to check in on your neighbours and friends, and of course, practice gratitude and kindness. It makes life so much better :-D

Further to our message last week when we announced a free 2020 postponement policy for Starlite workshop customers, most people and businesses have started to take responsibility to socially distance themselves, in order to stop the spread of COVID-19.  This includes our workshop host, Good Planet, who today have closed until the end of the month. 

This week’s and next week's workshops were cancelled and all participants advised accordingly. Those of you who did not rebook for April and May dates can rest assured that your workshop can be re-booked for ANY workshop at ANY time in the future by simply emailing us with your name and original workshop date.  

Even if your workshop is not yet cancelled, you are welcome to postpone your participation until such time as you feel safe in re-booking.  That could be the summer, the fall, or next year, it's your choice. 

We will continue to cancel dates as requested by customers, health authorities, and our partners at Good Planet. We will be sure to keep you informed as we do so via the email address you provided us with when you booked.

COVID-19 POLICY: 12th MARCH 2020

Starlite Soap Studio will offer free postponement of any workshop that you are currently booked into.
You can re-book it right away for a later scheduled date, or you can just let us know by email when you feel comfortable to re-book, whether that's next week, next month or next year. Your booking is safe, and we look forward to welcoming you. 
Just e-mail your details (name, workshop type, workshop date, order # if you have it) to hello@starlitesoapstudio.com and we will get back to you within 24 hours. 

 

 

OUR STANDARD POLICY: 

REFUNDS/EXCHANGES

With 48 hours advance notification, Starlite Soap Studio allows for free re-booking of a workshop. We are sorry, but we cannot currently offer refunds. 

CANCELLATIONS and NO-SHOWS

For cancellations and no-shows, we do not offer refunds, but you are welcome to transfer your seat to somebody else for the same event. 

RUNNING LATE?

If you are running late for a workshop, please contact us as soon as possible. Your spot and materials will be ready for you and you can join the class. If you are really late, you just may not have enough time to finish your project. The instructor will do all possible to assist you, but refunds cannot be offered if you can't catch up.
